Early Beginnings
As you may or may not know I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where the people I knew were either broke, on drugs, selling drugs or a combination of two or all three of those. Eventually, I found himself in the streets doing the same things, because I wanted to become wealthy to create a better situation for my family.
One thing lead to another and I dropped out of high school and started going to jail. But, the time came when my perspective changed. I ended up getting myself a “J.O.B!” (wait until you hear the rest of this story)
But, I saw how little he earned in contrast to how much the company made money in an hour. So, I quit this job and looked for greener pastures.
Into the Entertainment Industry
I entered the entertainment industry. He grew up listening to successful personalities, such as Russell Simmons and Master P. They had similar backgrounds, and started successful entertainment empires, so I followed suit.
Get 2 It Enterprises was my first company. I was 19 and I bought my first studio, and since I didn’t know how to work any of the equipment and I didn’t rap(except when I was playing around), I hired people to fulfill important functions in the business. I was successful, but his journey did not stop there.
It actually was just the beginning…
